Ragnarok and Roll: Epic Film Openers


 The Epic Marvel Movie "Thor: Ragnarok" is a masterpiece of a film. Today, we will discuss about this film's opening scene. Including details about the Camera Angles, Shot Sizes So let's get into it. 

Starts of with a Wide Shot Establishing the location and the Character (Thor) 

Then, a quick cut to show a Medium Close-Up on Thor's face showing his Confidence.

We also see Low-Angle Shots on Thor which make him look Powerful

When We Quick Cut into Surtur sitting on his throne, We Have Some High-Angle Shots which show Surtur's Dominance. Quick cuts capture the Comic Action dialogue between Thor and Surtur. Wide Shots Establish the fiery environment. When Surtur Speaks, Slow Cuts are used to create tension and some sort of suspense. Pan and Slider Movements are used. Warm Colors are used.
